What is Bachelor of Architecture?

B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) is a bachelor's degree in the field of architecture. This five-year, full-time program is a combination of theoretical and practical knowledge for students to learn the art of planning, designing and building physical structures of various types. Bachelor of Architecture is a 5-year undergraduate program that can be started after class 12 with a minimum of 50% grades. B. Arc Eligibility and Upper Entrance Exam

To study a full-time Bachelor of Architecture program, students must meet the eligibility requirements listed. Applicants must have passed their 10 + 2 exam or equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects. They must have obtained a minimum of 50 percent marks (45 percent for the reserved category) in 10 + 2. Or should have passed the 10 + 3 Diploma (any course) recognized by central / state governments with 50 percent of total grades. Or you should have completed your International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with no less than 50 percent of grades in total and with Mathematics as a compulsory examination subject.The National Architectural Aptitude Test (NATA) and the Architectural Aptitude Test (AAT) are two of the most popular Bachelor of Architecture entrance exams. The former is widely accepted by the universities that offer these programs. The AAT is an entrance exam for admission to architecture programs offered by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT).

NATA 2020 is the main BArch entrance exam. More than 30,000 students sat for the exam in 2019. This national level exam is conducted by the Council of Architecture for admission to various central, national and state universities of architecture across India.JEE Mains, This exam is primarily for admission to engineering courses, but also provides admission to Bachelor of Architecture and B. Planning. The exam is carried out by NTA both online and offline. The exam does not have a negative grade. AMUEEE, This exam is conducted by the Muslim University of Aligarh for engineering and the course Bachelor of Architecture. The exam is done in offline mode.One can secure a place in an esteemed university / college if they start preparing for NATA or any other entrance exams in advance. There are mainly five basic sections in the exams:
