IBPS Clerk 2021 Recruitment

Every year, the IBPS offers a bumper of vacancies. For the year 2021, IBPS provides an idea about its number of vacancies for multiple posts for different categories of candidates. Eligibility Criteria for IBPS clerk 2021

Aspirants who want to apply for IBPS clerk must be to come under the citizen of India/ Nepal/ Bhutan.

If a candidate of Tibetan Refugee came from another country to India before the date 1 January 1962 for permanently settling in India

Folk who are from an Indian origin has migrated from other countries like Sri Lanka, Burma, Pakistan, Vietnam, Malawi, Zaire, Zambia, Ethiopia, and from East African countries such as United Republic of Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda intends to settle down permanently in India. These candidates should belong to category 1, 2, and 3 and has the eligibility certificate by the government of India.

Candidate must have a minimum age limit of 20 years and a maximum age limit of 28 years on 1 September 2021.

The age relaxation is five years for the schedule caste or ST category aspirants.

For other Backward category candidates, the age relaxation is 3 years.

For disabled candidates, the age relaxation is 10 years.

For Widows, Divorced women and who have not married or the woman who is legally separated from their husbands the age relaxation is 9 years.

For people who are affected by the 1982 riots, for them, the age relaxation is 5 years.

For candidates who are the regular employees of the Union Carbide Factory or from Bhopal retrenched service the age relaxation will be 5 years.

For aspirants who are ordinarily domiciled in the state of J & K during the period of 1-1-1980 to 31-12-1989, the age relaxation will be 5 years.

Aspirants must have an undergraduate degree from a recognized university.

IBPS Clerk 2021 Exam Pattern

Recently IBPS has revised its clerk exam pattern. For the prelims exam, there are 30 questions of English, 35 questions for Numerical Ability, and 35 questions for Reasoning Ability. One hour is the total time duration for the IBPS clerk exam. Each question is of 1 mark only, so that the total marks for this exam is 100. To move for the IBPS Mains exam, the candidate has to secure a sectional cut off and overall IBPS clerk cut off.

For the IBPS clerk 2021 mains exam pattern there are 4 subjects. In the mains question paper, there are 50 questions for General/ Financial awareness, 40 questions for the English language, 60 questions for Reasoning and computer aptitude, and 50 questions for Quantitative aptitude. The total time duration of the preliminary exam is 160 minutes. The question paper is available in English or Hindi language.  

In question paper, there is negative marking for wrong answer. For each question, ¼ of marks will cut. The candidate also has to go through the previous year question papers and prepare themselves accordingly.

In the English language, the topics cover Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary.
