JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination this is one of the most popular engineering entrance exams and it is conducted by Nation Testing Agency (NTA). JEE Mains Eligibility Criteria

In order to appear in the JEE Mains for students, it is very crucial to meet the eligibility standards because if the candidate will not be eligible then he/she will be not be allowed to appear for the examination.

Age Limit

There is no age boundation to appear for the examination.

Qualification Criteria

  • The candidates must have qualified the class 12 or equivalent examination from the authorized board. The candidates who are appearing in the 2020 examination can also appear in the JEE exam.
  • Candidate must have studied 5 subjects (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational) in class 12.
  • However, the B.Arch NTA has defined that applicants should have studied MPC.

JEE Mains Exam Pattern

If candidates are appearing for the examination then it is very important to know about the exam pattern as if you don’t the JEE examination pattern then for applicants it will be quite difficult to do the JEE Preparation.

  • Duration of Exam – 03 hours
  • Language of Exam – Hindi, English, Gujarati
  • Paper I Total Marks – 300
  • Number of ques in Paper I – 75
  • Paper II Total Marks – 400
  • Number of ques in Paper II – 77 (B.Arch) and 100 (B.Plan)
  • Marking Scheme – 4 marks per question
  • Negative Marking – 1 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer
