Why choose M-Tech?

A master’s degree in engineering is considered important for engineers looking for highly paid work. In addition, engineering is practiced in all areas and in most professional practices. As a result, engineering students are trained in theoretical and practical work with engineering research and practice.

However, a research and development career prefers a master's degree to a bachelor's degree. During their master's degree, candidates will become familiar with engineering practices applied in daily life at a high level, which will help them to better understand the subject. In this way, candidates will hold high positions in the workplace and will be easily promoted through in-depth knowledge.

A master's degree increases the chances of getting into specialized companies with the best pay scales. Studying M-Tech after B.Tech gives you enough time to gain in-depth technical knowledge of the subject and better control it.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE): Entrance Exam to MTech

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, or commonly known as the GATE, is a national level technical exam that is held every year for admission to postgraduate and doctoral courses at IIT, NIT, and IIIT. However, The exam is conducted jointly by the IIT family (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Guwahati, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.

Various government and private institutions across the country accept a GATE score for admission to their MTech programs. Moreover, public sector units (PSUs) also employ engineers through the GATE.
