For admission in Master Business Administration, Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and various associated Management programs, All India Management Association conducts Management Aptitude Test (MAT). It is carried out four times in a year - February, May, September and December. Furthermore, the score obtained in this test helps the candidate to take admissions in higher premier B-schools of India. There are more than 6 lakhs MBA aspirants appear for the MAT exam. In the year 2003, MAT is approved as a national level test by the Ministry of HRD of India. All India Management Association (AIMA) conduct this test.

MAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria

 

In order to appear in MAT 2020, the candidate should meet the eligibility criteria.

 

Age Limit: There is no age limit for appearing the MAT 2020.

 

Qualification: Graduates in any discipline. Final year students can also apply. The people with work experience can also appear for the exam if they want more to excel and extra mile addition in their resume.

 

Minimum Percentage Requirement: The minimum percentage requirement may vary as per the institute for which candidate is applying so it is recommend to visit the each preferred university of their choice.

 

Nationality: Indian and International citizens can apply for MAT 2020.

Admit Card: Admit card consists of candidate’s name, form no, roll no, test date, test time and venue address. He/she has to strictly adhere the date and time allotted to him/her in case of CBT.Registered candidate can download their admit card from AIMA official website https://mat.aima.in as per the mentioned date.

 

Result: Appeared candidate can download their MAT score from AIMA website https://www.aima.in. This score card is valid for one year. 

 

Exam Pattern Of MAT 2020

 

To appear in MAT 2020, the candidate should be aware of the exam pattern to attempt it hassle free.

 

Duration Of Exams: 150 minutes (2 hours and 30 minutes)

Number of Questions: 200

Total Marks: 200

Exam Question Type: MCQs

Negative Marking: There will be 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer and besides this 1 mark for every correct answer.

Mode Of Exam: Candidate can take MAT as the Paper Based Test (PBT) or Computer Based Test (CBT) or Both CBT & PBT. Candidate who is appearing for the both CBT & PBT, have the benefit of selecting seven management Institute in total rather than five.

Total Sections: Five

Test Cities: Test cities for PBT and CBT are different. Always check admit card.
