HTET Result 2021 Released by BSEH

The Haryana Board of Secondary Education (BSEH) has released the 2020 exam result of the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET). The Board has declared the BSEH HTET result 2021 releasedon January 21. Candidates who have taken the HTET 2021 exam can visit the official website to check their HTET result 2021 released. The HTET 2020 results will indicate whether the candidate is qualified or not. Previously, BSEH Haryana released the HTET answer key and provided an option to challenge it. HTET or Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test, conducted by the Haryana Board of Secondary Education (BSEH), is an eligibility test for teachers. HTET is carried out for different levels of teacher recruitment such as Primary Teacher (PRT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), and Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Haryana state government run schools. After scoring the written test, candidates will receive a TET certificate that will remain valid for a period of seven years, previously it was five years. The change has been made after a recent amendment from the state government. Candidates can apply for the vacancies released by BSEH after obtaining the HTET certificate.

HTET 2020 Eligibility

To become eligible to apply for HTET 2020, candidates must possess the following eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

  • Primary Teacher (Level 1 - Class 1 to 5): 12th pass along with Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed)
  • Trained Graduate Teacher (Level 2 - Class 6 to 8): Bachelor’s Degree along with B.Ed
  • Post Graduate Teacher (Level 3 – Above Class 8): Master’s Degree along with B.Ed

Age: Candidates from 18 years to 38 years of age can apply for HTET 2020.

HTET 2020 selection process

HTET's selection process involves the following stages:

HTET Online Application - Candidates wishing to apply for HTET must apply for the exam online. Candidates can select levels based on their preference and eligibility.

HTET admission card: the HTET admission card will be delivered one week before the exam. The admission card for levels 1, 2 and 3 will be published separately on the official website of the HTET exam.

HTET written test: The HTET written exam will have three jobs, Paper - I, Job-II and Job - III. Test - I is for Primary Teachers (Classes I - V), Test - II is for trained graduate Teachers - TGT (Class VI -VIII) and Test - III is for Postgraduate Teachers (classes IX - XII).   • Total duration: two and a half hours
  • Type of questions: objective MCQ
  • Exam mode: offline (based on OMR)

HTET Result: Candidates who achieve the HTET limits will be declared qualified in the HTET exam, they will be given an HTET qualification certificate. The certificate will be valid for seven years.

HTET 2020 Iris Biometric Candidate List

The BSEH has published the Iris Biometric Candidate List for Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 exams. It has also published the list of biometric verification centers on its official website. The Board has implemented IRIS Biometric Verification for the first time to provide more transparency in the HTET examination process. This will even help in the qualification of the candidates. The official statement reads, "To ensure that persons recruited as teachers possess the essential aptitude and ability to meet the challenges of teaching at Elementary, Secondary and Senior Secondary levels, one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools recognized by the Department of School Education, Haryana and affiliated by the Board of School Education, Haryana is that they should pass the "Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test."

HTET 2021 Certificate Validity

The BSEH releases HTET 2021 certificate to candidates who had passed with flying colors in the written exam. The Board will issue a certificate to qualified candidates which is valid for seven years from the date of issuance.
