IIT-JAM 2021 Admit Card (Released), Exam Instructions

The IIT-JAM 2021 Admit Card releasedon January 11, 2021. IIT-JAM (Joint Admit Test) is a national-level entrance exam administered by various IISc and IIT on a rotating basis. By 2021, it is carried out by IISc, Bangalore. Candidates can gain admit to M.Sc, M.Sc.-Ph.D Joint, M.Sc.-M.Tech, M.Sc-Ph.D Dual Degree and some other courses through this exam. The IIT-JAM scorecard will be considered by the IIT, IISc and various other institutions to offer admits. Applicants can get the admit card only through the online mode. It cannot be sent by post / email. To download the IIT-JAM 2021 Admit Card, candidates need to enter their Enrollment ID / Email ID, password, security code, etc.Candidates are advised to keep their login credentials secure, as without them candidates cannot obtain their admit card. If candidates have forgotten their registration ID or password, they can retrieve it through the "Forget registration ID or password" option.

Candidates should keep the IIT-JAM Hall 2021 ticket as it must be presented at the time of admit. The admit card will contain details related to the exam and the candidate, such as:

IIT-JAM 2021 Date of admit card

The IIT-JAM 2021 Admit Card released via online mode. It has been available from January 11, 2021 until the exam date. Candidates who successfully submit their registration form can download their admit cards.The IIT-JAM exam will be held on February 14, 2021. The IIT-JAM result will be declared on March 20, 2021. After the declaration of results, candidates must proceed to the admit process. The IIT-JAM 2021 advisory will start from April 15, 2021.

How to download the admit card

Candidates must follow the steps detailed below to download the IIT-JAM 2021 admit card:

  • Go to the link of the official website.
  • After clicking the link, you will be redirected to the IIT-JAM login page.
  • Enter the login credentials such as Enrollment ID / Email ID and password.
  • Solve the given arithmetic expression and click the submit button.
  • You can also click "Forget Enrollment ID and Password" in case you forget your login credential.
  • After submitting the details, your admit card will be displayed in PDF format.
  • Candidates are encouraged to bring an additional hard copy of the admit card for later use.

Instructions for candidates

  • Candidates are advised to verify the details mentioned on the admit card.
  • In case of discrepancy, please inform the Organizing President, JAM 2021, IIT Bangalore immediately.
  • Candidates will be required to present one of the valid photo identification proofs, such as Aadhaar card, voter ID, driver's license, and PAN card, on the day of the exam.
  • Don't forget to bring a printed copy of the admit card along with other prescribed documents in the exam room.
  • The admit card will not be sent by post or email.
  • Without the admit card, candidates will not be able to enter the exam center.
  • If a candidate does not download the Admit Card, then the JAM President of the respective IISc / IIT should be contacted, under which the candidate's first-choice Test City / Town is located, via Phone / Email / FAX , giving the Registration ID, name, email ID, mobile phone number, postal address and city code of the desired test center (first choice) for details on the registration number and the name of the assigned test center to the candidate.

Steps to recover IIT-JAM 2021 enrollment ID and password

  • Step 1: If you don't remember your Enrollment ID, click "Forgot Enrollment ID" to retrieve your Enrollment ID by password.
  • Step 2: In case you remember the Enrollment ID and forgot the password, you can click "Request an OTP" to get the one-time password.
  • Step 3: If you already have an OTP, click I already have an OTP to reset the password.
