NTA UGC NET 2021 Registration with Online for UGC NET Dec 2020 Exam to be held in May 2021

NTA UGC NET 2021 Registration @ ugcnet.nta.nic.in: UGC NET December 2020 The exam will be taken by NTA from May 2 to 17, 2021 in 81 subjects at selected test centers throughout the country for the position of assistant professor and junior researcher Beca (JRF). The University Grants Commission (UGC) has entrusted the responsibility of conducting UGC-NET to the NTA established by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI). UGC NET is a test that is conducted in online mode to determine "Assistant Professor Only" and "Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor" eligibility at Indian universities and colleges.

Before beginning the process of filling out the form, please have the following information ready:

  • Copy of board / college certificate for candidate's name, mother's name, father's name, and date of birth
  • Identification type: Aadhaar number, bank A / c number / passport number / ration card / other government identification
  • Degree certificate or report card from the last semester
  • Your postal address and your permanent address with PIN code
  • Four cities for centers of your choice
  • NET subject code
  • Subject code at Postgraduate level
  • Postgraduate course code
  • Category certificate
  • Certificate of person with disability (PwD)
  • Your own email address and mobile phone number
  • Images scanned in JPG / JPEG format only of the candidate's photograph (10 kb to 200 kb) and signature (4 kb to 30 kb).

How to apply online for the December 2020 UGC NET exam (May 2021)?

Let's take a look at the step-by-step process for completing the NTA UGC NET 2021 Registrationapplication form:

Step 1: go to the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA)

Candidates must apply online through the official website of the National Testing Agency at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Register as a new user:

NTA UGC NET 2021 Registrationis open now go through the official site and register yourself.

Step 3: Complete the registration form

Carefully fill out the registration page of the online application form before March 2, 2021. Fill in the basic information and note the application number generated by the system: name of candidate / name of mother / name of father:

1. Provide the candidate's name, mother's name, and father's name as indicated on the high school exam or college or equivalent board certificate in capital letters.

2. Date of Birth: dd/mm/yyyyProvide Candidate’s date of birth as recorded in Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board/ University certificate.

3. Mobile Number and e-mail Address:

Provide your own Mobile Number and e-mail address.

Note: Only one e-mail address and one Mobile Number are valid for one application

Step 4: Complete the full application form

Complete the full application form after thoroughly reviewing the eligibility criteria for teaching positions. Here are some points to remember when completing the application form:

  1. Other Backward Classes (OBC): Non-creamy coating as per the Central List of Other Backward Classes available from the National Backward Classes Commission (NCBC), Government of India website (www.ncbc.nic.in). Therefore, candidates included in this list can mention OBC in the category column. State roster OBC candidates who are not on the OBC-NCL (Central Roster) must choose General.
  2. Provide your full postal address with PIN code (postal address and permanent address) for additional correspondence. The PIN code of the correspondence address must be given in the space provided for this purpose.
    1. Note: The NTA will not be responsible for any delay / loss in postal transit or an incorrect mailing address provided by the applicant on the application form.
    2. Choice of cities for exam centers: The candidate must select four cities of their choice from theNTA UGC NET 2021 Registrationform.
    3. NET subject: The candidate must select the NET subject that will appear in the list of NET subjects.
    4. Subject at postgraduate level: The candidate must select the subject at postgraduate level.
    5. Postgraduate Course: The candidate must select the Postgraduate Course.
    6. Under no circumstances will the NTA modify the choice of cities for the Center and NET subject completed in the application.

Step 5: Generate Login ID and Password

Register for the online application form and note the application number generated by the system. The candidate must provide all the details when completing the Online Application Form and must also create a PASSWORD and choose Security Question and enter their Answer. After successful submission of personal data, the application number will be generated and used to complete the remaining steps of the application form and will also be required for all future correspondence. For subsequent logins, the candidate will be able to log in directly with the application number generated by the respective system and the password created.

  • The password must comply with the following password policy.
  • The password must be between 8 and 13 characters.
  • The password must have at least one uppercase alphabet.
  • The password must have at least one lowercase alphabet.
  • The password must have at least one numeric value.
  • The password must have at least one special character, for example! @ # $% ^ & * -
  • Candidates are encouraged to write down their login ID and password for future use.

Step 6: Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature

The next step is uploading of scanned images. Candidates are required to fill the size and dimensions of the photo image are as mentioned below:
