The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the final result SSC GD Constable 2018. The Commission has published the SSC GD constable 2018 final result for Constable (General Duty) on its official website in the form of a list of merits. A total of 54,411 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted on the SSC GD Constable 2018 final result. All shortlisted candidates have been assigned an agent position (GD) in different forces such as CAPF, NIA, SSF and Assam Rifles.
Previously, the result would be released on January 20, 2021, however, it was delayed and announced now. The Staff Selection Commission conducted the SSC GD Constable medical examination from January 9 to February 13, 2020. A total of 1.75 lakh candidates had appeared for the medical examination to fill 60,210 SSC GD vacancies.
The SSC GD selection process consists of a computer-based exam (CBE), a physical efficiency test (PET), a standard physical test (PST), and a medical exam. The full steps of the selection process are explained below:
The first and most important step of the hiring process is completing the SSC GD Constable Application form. Candidates must complete the online application form on the official SSC website. The application fee for all candidates is Rs 100 (women / SC / ST / ex-military candidates are exempt from paying fees).
The SSC GD Constable Admission Card is issued at least two to three weeks before the exam. The admission card is available online. Candidates must download the SSC GD Constable 2020 admission card from the commission's official regional websites by entering the required login credentials. Admission cards for PET / PST and DME / RME are loaded by CRPF.
All candidates whose online applications are accepted must appear on the CBE. The test includes 100 questions of objective type of 100 points. The question paper is divided into four parts: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English / Hindi. The difficulty level of the questions is enrollment level.
Based on CBE's performance, candidates are shortlisted for physical tests like PET and PST. The tests are carried out in several centers finalized by the contracting body such as the CAPF.
Candidates who qualify for the PET / PST exam must finally appear for DME and RME (if applicable), conducted by CAPF.
The final result of SSC GD together with the allocation of force is published by the Personnel Selection Commission on its official website. The final result published by the commission is based on the performance of the candidates in CBE. PET, PST, DME, RME are only qualified in nature.
