YSR Cheyutha Scheme 2021 – Application Form, Eligibility and Benefits

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has taken the initiative to help 23 lakh beneficiaries and has launched the YSR Cheyutha Plan to help families facing financial problems. ThroughYSR Cheyutha 2021 Scheme  the state government will work to provide employment opportunities to womens groups in the state for themselves and others. Under the Jagananna Cheyutha scheme  the government aims to provide financial assistance of Rs 18750 per year for the 4 consecutive years. Through the plan  the Andhra Pradesh government will help increase the empowerment rate of women in the state and provide various benefits to women.

What is YSR Cheyutha?

YSR Cheyutha Scheme is announced by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The aim of the plan is to benefit women from the weakest sectors of society, such as the women of the SC / ST / OBC / Minority Community. The YSR Cheyutha scheme depends on the Andhra government department of women's welfare. This scheme is basically focused on the development of women related to backward communities. All those women who are working in a self-help group will benefit from this scheme. Women from 23 lakh minority communities within the 45-60 age group would now be eligible to receive a total amount of Rs-75,000 over four years at a rate of Rs-18,750 per year.

According to the latest update, The Honorable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the YSR Cheyutha program on August 12, 2021 (Wednesday) to provide financial support to SC / ST / OBC beneficiaries and minority women . The last date to apply for the same was December 08, 2021. However, the second phase of YSR Cheyutha will start soon on the official website.Through this scheme, the Chief Minister aims to provide economic benefits to women from the weakest sectors of society such as SC / ST / OBC / women from minority communities.

The economically weaker section of women residing in the state of Andhra Pradesh now does not have to worry about their financial problems because the state of Andhra Pradesh has come up with a wonderful plan that will help all these groups of women to create their own employment opportunity. The name of the plan is YSR Cheyutha Scheme 2021. By implementing the plan, there will be many benefits available to women. It should be noted that all those women who become eligible after turning 45 on August 12 of each year will receive benefits from this scheme and all those women who cross the upper age limit of 60 years will no longer receive the benefit. YSR Cheyutha Yojana Benefits 2021

  • Rs 75,000 assistance will be provided to women covered by the YSR Cheyutha scheme in Andhra Pradesh.
  • The amount of the pension will be distributed in four equal installments of Rs-18,750 each year. The amount will be transferred to the beneficiary's bank accounts.
  • For the benefit of women, the plan has been improved. With the pension amount of Rs 75,000, the women will get the economic benefits from the Andhra Pradesh Government. The beneficiary includes women from the very low income group with backward economic conditions.
  • The reward will continue for a period of four years and will be awarded to the beneficiary woman in four equal payments.
  • The amount will be transferred into the beneficiary's bank accounts.

Eligibility Criteria Required for the YSR Cheyutha Scheme

To apply online, one must meet the following eligibility standards:

  • The female applicant must be between 45 and 60 years old and must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Total household income must be less than Rs 10,000 for women living in rural areas and family income must be less than RS 12,000 for women living in urban areas.
  • No member of the family should be a government employee.
  • The applicant family must not have a four-wheeler (taxi, car and tractor are exempt from this).
  • Applicant's monthly energy consumption must be less than 300 units per month for YSR Cheyutha 2021 scheme.
