Master of Business Administration is one of the most preferable courses after graduation. This course helps an individual to build business skills and inner personality which helps him/her in their social life and career life. There are many institutes in India that offer an MBA course, so to get admission to that institutes one has to clear the test. Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is one of them. It is an all India management aptitude exam organized by the Xavier Labour Relation Institute (XLRI) on behalf of XAMI. More than one lakh candidate appears in the XAT exam to pursue higher studies at XLRI. The XAT 2020 score will be accepted by more than 150 management institutes in India and abroad.

Eligibility Criteria Of XAT


In order to appear for the XAT exam, the candidate has to meet the eligibility criteria.


Age limit - There is no age limitation to appear in the examination.


Qualification Criteria: Graduates in any discipline. Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) can also apply. Working professionals can also apply for this exam to excel in their careers.


XAT Exam Pattern


To appear in XAT, the candidate should be aware of the exam pattern to attempt it hassle-free.  It is conducted online mode. It has two papers, in the first paper objective type and aptitude type questions asked and in the second paper, both objective and subjective type questions asked. It examined the candidate’s general awareness level.

Total Number Of Questions: 98 Question

Negative Marking Scheme: There is a negative marking for every wrong answer. Every wrong answer one-fourth marks will be deducted. The candidate who does not attempt questions (after 8) will have to face a 0.5 marks deduction.

Sections: Five Sections

Session: One Session. There will be a five-minute break between Paper 1 and paper 2.
